Engineering is the most popular and reliable career choice for students who aspire to become extremely successful and wealthy. Have you ever wondered which is the best branch of engineering for a lucrative career? Like all things, it depends. As much as we’d like to be able to write a single answer, it only takes a moment’s thought to realize that there are several factors that need to be considered when choosing your career path. Without further ado:

    1. Civil Engineering

Civil engineering is a branch of engineering that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical, naturally occurring or constructed environment—such as buildings, roads, infrastructure, water supply and sanitation systems, and machines. Civil engineers traditionally are concerned with the development of technology to construct buildings and infrastructure for use by humans and communities. Civil engineers usually work in public-private partnerships with designers, planners, technicians and construction managers. Civil engineering also includes optimization of planning for transportation systems such as highways and railroads.  They study geology and natural resources to find out where raw materials are available and how their use can be maximized. With civil engineering, you also need to learn many different software programs. For instance, learning AutoCAD for civil engineering is extremely important if you want to build a successful career.

    2. Computer science engineering

Computer Science Engineering is the branch of engineering science that deals with the application of computers to solve various problems in fields such as mathematics, statistics and engineering. Computer Science Engineers work on the development of software programs using algorithms that are based on mathematical principles or scientific models to solve problems efficiently in a systematic manner.

    3. Chemical Engineering

Chemical engineers design processes that use chemicals to make products or process materials, such as pharmaceuticals or household cleaners. They also research new uses for existing chemicals and develop new ones. Chemical engineers must have a strong background in chemistry and physics, along with knowledge of biology, biochemistry and mathematics. They often work on projects involving high-tech equipment such as computer-controlled machines or laboratory instruments. Chemical engineers work with chemicals to solve problems that are important to society. They may work in laboratories developing new products or they may be involved in the process of extracting raw materials from the earth or in solving problems associated with industrial production processes and quality control. Chemical engineers often work on projects involving toxic substances or other hazardous materials like explosives; their job includes making sure that these materials are safe for people who will use them.

    4. Mechanical engineering

Mechanical engineering is the branch of engineering that deals with the design, production, and use of machinery. Mechanical engineers typically study the forces and applications of mechanical systems. They have a wide range of career opportunities available to them, including working with manufacturing companies, designing and constructing structures such as bridges and buildings, using computers to design vehicles and aircraft, working as consultants in industry or research labs, or even teaching at colleges and universities. Mechanical engineers are also involved in many aspects of other engineering fields such as robotics through mechatronics. Material science is extremely important in mechanical engineering. This is why mechanical engineers typically work with materials such as metal, plastic and rubber to build complex machines that perform specific tasks instantaneously or over a long period of time. Mechanical engineers are responsible for designing these machines so they can perform well under different conditions such as heat or cold; pressure or not; at high speeds or low speeds; under gravity or not; etcetera. Most placement assistance courses claim that it is the easiest for them to guarantee a job to a mechanical engineer. This is true because there are not many mechanical engineers however, there is a lot of requirement for them in companies and industries.
